TIM BOX (BOXY)
Bio: I've been fishing since the very young age of 6 years old, and it was my father that introduced me to the wonderful hobby, which has now become more of an obsession. I began my adventures using simple waggler tactics on my local club venues, which then progressed to match fishing in the surrounding areas.
Hometown: Stoke-on-Trent Personal Best: UK PB Mirror 37lb 8oz, UK PB Common 29lb 12oz, Overall PB French Common at 42lb 12oz Favourite R.A.D. Product: My favourite R.A.D. product, that’s a tough one, as our products provide an array of bankside solutions to suit every eventuality that today’s angler may come across. That being said if I were to choose one, then it would have to be the pod system, simply because it offers so much versatility to your angling. It can be used as its intended purpose, as a pod, or it can be adapted or broken down to use as a goalpost setup or single sticks. On top of that it’s extremely light and very compact when broken down to pack away in the handy little bag that it comes with. Favourite Venue: My favourite venue at the moment is probably my current syndicate, the Bowl, which is run by DB fisheries. It is a 65 acre low stocked pit based in the Midlands, and even though the fish aren’t exactly climbing the lines, I do enjoy the challenge and I know that the rewards are there to be had. As already mentioned it is a challenge and it does tend to get under your skin, but putting them jigsaw pieces together gradually is what it’s all about for me, and I will continue to rack my brain on here until I have accomplished what I set out to do. |
